Marilyn Manson也许是90年代继nirvana之后，最具时代感召力的乐队。这位美国的邪教使者,痴迷于恶魔力量的感召，将丑恶在音乐中一再夸张放大，并采用了一种时尚的折衷手法，巧妙地将虚无主义以及哥特音乐的腐尸气息与流行音乐的煽情元素结合在一起，制造出了90年代中后期最具魔鬼魅力的摇滚乐。
有人说，听曼森是需要半躺在床上的，四周裹满棉被，这样用来避免极端疯狂下的自残行为；
有人说，听曼森需要用手机预先拨好120，这样用来避免猝死床上以后无人知道造成的尸体腐败，以及彻底腐败后露出完美的白骨。
曼森自己曾有一句非常著名的话是：“为了避免自己彻底疯掉，我在成为音乐人和成为杀人犯之间做了一个选择。如果有人和我当初一样，那该是你做选择的时候了。”
与曼森在音乐中惯用的嘶哑吼叫不同，这是曼森相对温和的一首歌。在这首歌里，地狱的意象仍压迫着听者的神经，机械单调的鼓击，死亡金属阴暗凝重的和弦段落，散发出独有的冷漠、不详和嘲弄，营造出一种黑暗、向下沉沦的气氛。

从音乐角度来说他的音乐是正宗的工业金，把他看做哥特只是从表演风格等表面来看的肤浅定义。

这个应该是属于哥特风格吧 毕竟玛丽莲是走哥特路线的。感谢LZ分享
